Noel and I were already discussing what we should do for her first birthday, and that's still three months away. But still, that seems like so near! Speaking of Noel, I went and did his Myspace layout, so he was happy.
I heard that my nephew is doing much better. My mom said that while he didn't have a strong grip, he still held her finger in his hand. My brother said he slapped something away (I think a bottle) when the people at the hospital were attempting to give it to him, and he rolls over! He wasn't even due until March (it would have been the my twin niece and nephew in March, Aaliyah in April, and my other niece in May!) and he's already rolling around.
I was really worried, but he's doing so much better. He lost a bit of weight, but it's normal for all babies to lose a few ounces during the first week or so.
The "store manager" said she asked the district manager to make me her full time assistant. Well, she put in for the "store manager" position from full time assistant, and has been acting as the store manager since the last one left; however, they've yet to approve her. Once that time comes, she wants me to be the full time assistant manager. Like her, I'm still doing the duties of the position I hope to fill later... Just at lower pay.
She's doing store manager hours and work, for full time assistant pay while I'm doing the full time assistant work for part-time assistant pay. And the only reason I make as much as I do now is because I received a slight raise (I believe it was $0.75) for my one year. Which reminds me, my second year is coming up next month! Hopefully I'll get more than another $0.75 raise, PLUS be able to apply for the full time job. ![]()
Oh, and since my headache's coming back. I was stocking some coffee creamer at work today, when two customers approached me and asked where the sugar was. I could have sworn I took my head far enough from under the shelf, but no... I hit the top of my head, I guess it was pretty hard. They both asked if I was okay, more than once, and the one who had asked about the sugar apologized. I assured them that I was fine (the only thing hurt was my pride
), and showed them the sugar. I swear, it didn't hurt at the time, but a few minutes later my head was pounding, lol. I finished up the pallet I was working and went to lunch. Even after sitting down my head was hurting, and hours later it's back. I can't tell if I have a bump due to my hair, but damn it.
I'm also down to 141.5 pounds! I checked at my mom's house today. I still have three months to go in order to meet my goal of 135lbs. I just need to get back into exercising. I'm just always too tired.
