So, today's Noel's birthday, and we went to his parent's house for a couple of hours. During Christmas day and the day after, we went out of town to visit his family so they could see Aaliyah. Well, tonight we were watching the video that was taken from that day. After trying to hide my embarrassment in seeing myself (I hate seeing myself on camera, I always see my flaws), he switched tapes. He put in the wrong video, but we watched it anyway. It was from Noel's birthday party, in 2005. Exactly three years ago. My first thought was, Wow, I love the way my hair was. What happened? Damn it, I'm going to take better care of it and grow it out. My next thought was about my weight. What's funny is that I recalled my New Years Resolution in 2004 being to lose weight. I was happy I did a great job on the first day, and then ruinned on the second, Noel's birthday party. I remember telling Noel that I didn't want to eat any cake because of my diet, and he and his friends laughing at me for thinking I needed to loose weight. Here I am now, three years later, and I envy the older me, weight wise (and hair wise!). :shifty: I wish I had a clip from that video to view everyday. I KNOW that would inspire me to keep my game up. I mean, I could take pictures of celebrities and other people I want to shape my body like, but I AM the best motivation for myself.

Noel and I spent the second day out of town in Hollywood, like we used to. At first I felt bad for not taking LeeLee, especially when there was a guy dressed up as Elmo on the street, but it had suddenly became cold, and I was glad I didn't. We had fun, though.

All hell broke loose Sunday morning. I'd prefer not to talk about it, but Noel seriously needs some anger management before we can be completely cool again.

I say the 28th is the day Aaliyah officially learned how to crawl. Before that, she just managed to move backwards, but despite being a bit slow at moving and doing it in her own way, she's got it. Which means she's also got EVERY. LAST. THING. she has no business touching. When I was on the floor and adding my old hard drive to my newer computer, she ignored all her Christmas toys around her and went to my open CPU. I moved her over, so she went for my mail (she loves destorying papers). Right now she's in my lap because I'd prefer it if she didn't go after cords from the computer. Lol. Which reminds me, on her birthday and next Christmas, she's not getting very many toys. She ignores them and likes to play with things that really aren't meant to be toys. :hehe:

All kids like to get into things they are not supposed too. Loretta will be 3 in May and she still grabs for stuff she shouldn't. The boys are just now starting to grab things that are a no-no.

When Peter works on his or my computer, Loretta is right there. She is so curious as to what is going on.

Glad you had a good time with Noel, except for the argument.

Ooh yeah, I hate being videotaped/seeing myself also!

Sorry to hear about Noel, and how he needs anger management... =/
