Yeah, I know what you mean about waking up tired, making you feel tired the rest of the day. The best thing to do is take a nap, and most of the time, you should feel refreshed after that. But I know what you mean nonetheless, I get those days quite a bit too.
Wow, I didn't know you guys had a power outage! Hmm, weird. But I'm glad to hear that you've survived it! I don't think I would... No computer/internet + no AC/fan?! Haha, man, that'd be a DISASTER waiting to happen! =P
I hope your days have been better since you've typed up this blog!
Hey, I'm going to Vegas in two weeks or so to celebrate a friend's 21st. =] wow, were you only in Vegas for a day? That's crazy! It does sound too rushed, you definitely should take the time to go back and enjoy yourselves without having to run everywhere. People think my ID is fake because my picture is from when I was 15...and with the horrible lighting in the picture, I basically look like a really shadowy boy in my picture. No one ever believes that its my real ID, even though it is. I don't think license pictures should be used...no one looks like their ID picture, ever. >=[
And I know what you mean, I'm always really low on money - especially this month because I'm still waiting for the security deposit at my old apartment to be sent back to me, while rent is due for my new apartment again. I'm still going to Vegas though...I figure, I deserve to use the money I earned working for fun sometimes. We have to reward ourselves every now and then or else we'll go crazy. Especially if the whole "catching up" process isn't going to end regardless of whether you took the vacation or not.
I'm really self-conscience all the time...but that's kind of why I like to drink, simply because it loosens me up enough to actually be social in social situations.
You're making me crave those tempura shrimps... Hahah!
Haha, wow, Vegas for only a few days counts as a vacation? =P LOL about Noel almost getting kicked out!!
Yeah, don't feel bad about going on "vacation". Staying home all the time SUCKS sooo bad! I want to leave town and go on a vacation too!
=( Sorry about all of the self-consciousness stuff... I don't know how it feels, so I don't know what to say about that. =/ I hope you'll be able to overcome it soon...
=( I hate allergies too. =( Hope you'll feel better really soon...
Hehe, that's awesome about swimming! I haevn't swam in about a year, it's getting hot now, and I want to go! Hehe!
Sorry to hear about your car... =( I went through that before... It sucks. =(
Anyways, I actually do know what you mean about things coming once you get over something else. That happens to me a lot too! =( Hope everything goes well for you soon, you deserve it!
Good luck with the whole dentist thing. Ever since I've moved to VA no where down here takes my insurance, so I have to go all 9 hours home to have anything done. It's no fun!!!
Hehe, that's awesome about cleaning out your freezer/cabinets. I wished I could do that every now and then... (Long story) But yeah, it's crazy about some of the stuff you forgot about. Haha, I remembered yesterday about some meat that I bought for my dog, but all of the chaos happened, and totally forgot about it, and now it's expired... =/ Oh well...
Ooh! I love "Taco Bell"! LOL!! Man, now you're making me crave tacos. And I could have used the (previously mentioned) meat to make it! =(
Anyways, I'm glad to hear that you're being productive! =)
I always find that I'm hoping that things in the future will be better, but always end up being disappointed. I'm always thinking that it'll rock though - but just at the back of my mind. I know that when I get too excited about things, everything just goes to hell. =/ The more excited I am and the more I look forward to something, the more it sucks. Haha
Sorry to hear about your toothache though. =[ I'm not a dentist person either, no matter how old I'm going to get, I just cannot take the smell of the dentist's office or hearing those little drills. T_T Hope you do go get it checked soon, better to have it be a cavity than say a root canal.
I hope your attitude about 2010 is better now! I had the WORST 2007 ever, but I thought 2008 would change that, and it sure did. Haha. So just think that you'll have a better year than 2009, and it'll be better. =) Well, you don't have to think that it'll be perfect, since nothing's perfect, but it'll turn around. =)
Sorry to hear about that toothache! =( I was never really scared of dentists... Well, maybe once, but we changed dentists, and I was never scared again. I think you have to find a dentist you like... LOL. Yeah, my mom told me about the garlic trick. I've never had a toothache before, so I never tried it, but glad it's working! =)
Its alright, I'm not doing anything to celebrate the new year either, except think up what could possibly be my resolutions. =P Hehe, a little kitchen set would have been my DREAM as a child...and well, now too I guess. My biggest dream is to finally own a nice cosy little house with my own FoodNetwork-sized kitchen. Bwhahaha. =P Hope 2010 leaves 2009 in the duuust!
Simply, I'm actually saving up, or at least TRYING to save up my money for bigger things. =D
Shelly, I always try to get gifts for my family and then I'm left to wonder about other people. Acquaintances are probably better off getting cards in a, "We're not cool enough for me to get you a bigger gift, but here's something to let you know I was thinking about you" type of way. But if they get me a gift and I don't have anything for them? Awkward. LOL.
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas! My sisters and I also waited until midnight of Christmas Eve to exchange most of our gifts. =] But then again, I think the recession and everyone's financial situations are having a tough impact on the whole "gift giving" spirit this year. Then again, I always felt weird determining who I'm "supposed" to give gifts to. The whole feeling of needing to get someone a gift just because they got you a gift is kind of awkward to me. For people who are more acquaintances than friends, I'm always trying to figure out whether to get them a gift just in case they didn't get me one, because then it would make things awkward. =/ You ever get this?
And I know EXACTLY what you mean about being asked what you want!!!!! I was asked that at work, and I drew a COMPLETE blank! LOL, I'm like you, I got most of my wants out of the way, and that the stuff that I'd want now, aren't so important, so I'd rather save up money for big stuff. Hehe.
Hehe about the snow. I HATE the cold too, actually. I've never been in the snow before...
Sorry to hear about this year... =( I hope 2010 will be better for you! Happy New Year! =)
*hugs* Be strong, you can do it Ambrosia!! This whole recessionand no jobs thing has really been hitting everyone hard, I'm kind of happy that I'm still a student and people at the university still pity me enough to give me some financial aid. Although with the budget cuts and our governor hating education - I doubt I'm going to have it so easy next year. =[
But happy late birthday!! I'm sorry you were sick during it though, and hey, chicken burrito sounds pretty delich to me. =P
