Smells like Rain

I'm 95% done with an entry about Aaliyah's birthday, but I haven't touched it since. I worked for over a week straight with no days off, and Thursday and Friday were my days off. The dresser I purchased arrived at my parents' house (it came with the furniture they got) and was taken here (my mom drove, and one of my brothers and Noel carried it up) last night. It's huge, but it's perfect for Aaliyah. She has so many damn clothes, lol. I packed up another bag of her small clothes to give away, and she still has a ton. I moved the bedroom around, and despite the huge dresser, I love how much more room there is. The only thing I don't like is having my computer in the living room again, but I'll deal with it. There's a few small things in the bedroom that need to be cleaned up, but the living room is a terrible mess. I washed all of the clothes she had stored away along with a load of our clothes, but I had to run to the recycle center before they closed. The cans and bottles I store under the kitchen sink was getting full, so I wanted to get rid of them. Now, despite doing laundry a few days ago, I have a love seat full of clothes calling me. I also have Noel's computer desk kind of in the middle of the room. He NEVER uses his computer and wants to sell it (he used a Mac at school and liked the music programs, so he wants that later), so I have to wait for him to take that stuff back to his dad's house. Oh, and I also went to the car wash (it REALLY needed it) and grabbed a few groceries.

After the car wash, Aaliyah and I went to my mom and dad's house. I didn't want to stay long because of all I have to do, but I always end up doing otherwise I did spend the last hour there looking up who I was going to switch my Internet and TV service to. I'm also getting a home phone since the cell phone plan will be up soon, and with two of us using it as our primary phone (myself, and my oldest younger brother since he moved out), the minutes always go over. Even though I'll be spending more money a month, I'll be getting much more than I am for the high amount I'm loosing now.

Work... Work... It can kiss my ass. Long story short: they know they fucked up not promoting me after saying I would be, and having me work as if I were in that position since July, so they're trying to pull ANOTHER position out their ass for me to have so I won't quit. I never SAID I would quit, but they know that's what they were do if they were in my position. I'm actively job searching now.

Despite the huge mess up this way, I feel like I've got a lot done. The bedroom used to make me feel uncomfortable because of how crowded it was, but I actually like being in there now. I really don't feel like going back to work, especially after two days off in a roll, but I'll suck it up. I'm going to keep working hard, that way how much they needed me will REALLY hit them once I get the hell out. I have to go anyway, LeeLee's trying to make the mess up here bigger (yes, she has a skill for that).

I'm upgrading b2evo, which is why the layout is different.

Edit: So far, the only thing I changed on this blog is I switched completely to a default b2evolution layout for now (so it wouldn't be mixed with my old layout) and fixed the custom smilies. Right now I'm working on getting my other site's layout 100% back to how it was, then I'll work on this one. I'm considering leaving this how it is until I make a new layout. I don't really feel like updating all of these files to get back to an old layout I don't even want. *shrugs* I'll see.

Oh, and lots of updates on LeeLee coming soon. That's what I get for not blogging for so long, lol.

Sorry, I had the list ready, but never felt like going on online or had time. The day I was supposed to post this, I was having a crappy couple of days and couldn't find myself posting good things that happened to me. And then when I tried to yesterday, everything was out in my area, and the area around it. That included local cable channels, internet, ATMs, landlines, and cell phones. I never found out why.
