New posts are below!
Smells Like Rain is my personal site and blog with visitor content. After being too busy and uninterested to blog, the site was rarely updated. Between working on my other sites and tending to other things in life, I am finding time to revamp this site. Content aside from the blog is currently down until I go through and figure out what will be completely removed and what will stay and be redone.
I'm Ambrosia, a twenty-two year old from Southern California. This blog started back when I was in high school (most of those posts are gone, but I may open them back up at a later time), after keeping a blog on diary sites for a few years. A lot has happened over the years.
1. Have been blogging on Myspace at least once a week.
2. District Manager came to the store during my shift and was pleased with the store's improvements.
3. Had a day off after working over a week straight.
4. Actually had an idea for a new layout. It may not be much, but it's an idea, lo.
5. This post makes me 2/3 the way done with my goal of posting a "5 Good Things List) once a week, for three months.
So, I wanted to blog yesterday, but I had shut down my computer, went to pick up my mom's van, stayed there for a while, and when I got home; I couldn't get my Internet back up. Unplugging, checking cords, and all of that fun stuff didn't work. But here I am!
Yesterday was my first day off since Sunday... Of last week (as you may have already read). I did get some things done, but mostly I was being lazy. I updated my Myspac page and blogged there, and then I started making a new layout for Ambitious! As far as this site goes, I'm thinking about just moving it to Purrmeow.net and combining the two sites. I never update that one, and all I really do is blog here (I'm well aware of the content's outdatedness and the errors on the top of the pages since I've switched hosts last time). The only reason Smells like Rain was its own subdomain was because I used to actively update both sites, and at the time I wanted to keep my rants and anger away from the site that advertised all of my others. Eh, I don't care anymore, lol.
So yeah, after I put up a new layout at Ambitious! I'll hopefully have a layout idea for here.
That reminds me, I have a "5 Good Things" post I was supposed to format and post a while ago (I just made a list, but didn't add any coding to make it look readable to post). I'll work on that right now. I wanted to blog more, but I have to be to work at three. I still have to get ready, get LeeLee ready (who needs to stop getting into EVERY. LAST. THING), get a few groceries, drive on the other side of town to drop her off at my mom's, come back, get ready for work, and head out. And after getting off from work tonight at 10, I have to drive to get LeeLee, come back home, and then get up at 5am to do it all over again.

And the only update I've heard about my nephew is that they're feeding him again (they stopped due to bleeding) and that he's crying and moving around more. ![]()
I'll blog tomorrow. I have an entry in the draft that needs to be edited (my Five Good Things list) and I want to do a regular blog. I just haven't had a day off since Sunday... OF LAST WEEK. *passes out*

Nephew did well in surgery
Daily Show back on the air
Real Time back on the air
Found out I could watch episodes of The Simpsons (legally, lol) online
Spent time with Noel.
Was I supposed to post this already? Lol. Or did I do the last one early? *shrugs*
This post was so forced. I mean, I do find the items below to be good things that have happened since the last post of this sort; however, this week has been absolutely terrible. I'm sure I'll blog about that eventually, but right now it's all too much. I'm still having trouble comprehending everything, and I'm scared. Aaliayh's fine, for the record, but it has to do with other family members of mine. On to the post:
Aaliyah can crawl forward (as mentioned in my last post)
I have the weekend off, and I didn't even request it
I got to spend the week with Noel, since he's on break from school until Monday
I printed a list of tasks for each day of this month, cut them out, and pasted them on my calendar. It looks so neat and it's helping me keep up with everything.
This is my third blog of the week, so I'm keeping up with my goal of blogging more. ![]()
